Basically, is there any power? Do the lights come on, do you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the key on? Does everything come on but the starter won't go? Does the starter work but the engine won't fire? Different conditions point to different areas of the bike's systems, so "the bike shut off" doesn't tell us enough to try to find the affected system.
