I stopped at the local HD dealer today. Twin Cities HD in Lakeville, MN. I was snooping around the back at some of their used stuff and came upon an '05 non-ABS FJR with Yamaha Topcase. I flicked the key on and it had 770 miles on it!

They have $10,500 on a tag, I'm sure VERY negotiable.

It's not mine. I have nothing to do with it. The poor thing is lonely sitting with all those HD's. I don't expect it to fly out of the store real soon, especially if they work as hard selling it as they do Buells.

Twin Cities HD

I'll bet it belonged to MNFJR05. He had been pining for a Road King for the longest time, and in the worst way. Those big ass bar ends he made were the clue...... ;)

I seem to remember his username. Could he have only put 770 miles on it? It's a shame.

770 sounds about right. He's pretty much a fair weather kind of rider, if ya know what i mean........... :secret:

No he wasn't. And I'm dead meat if he ever see's this thread.................... :D

Well...........seeing as he was on the board and posted only a few days ago, I would officially consider yourself dead, festering, maggot filled meat.

Sure it was his?

The only way out is to bribe an admin to bar him and his computer from the feejer forum.

Trade a FJR in for a Road King??? To go from a fast, good handling, strong braking motorcycle...to a RK? Good thing I'd never do that....oh wait, I DID trade my '04 ST 1300 for an '05 RK, which went for an '05 GL 1800...which was sold when my hip was replaced. But now the moola is there WAITING to be used to pay the balance for my new '06 FJR(ordered Sept 28th as I hobbled in to the shop...)...if it would ever get here...in March.

Sooo, once I get her...things will be gr8???? Meanwhile: WS-BT-A! DFO <_<

All of you are so f...ing funny!!! :nono: 770 miles, that was after day 2 of ownership. Trading a bike after 770 miles reeks of RUB. Glad to have them on the mark of the RUB and not polluting the FJR owners ranks. Their new HD will probably accumulate miles at a significantly lower rate than the FJR. Don't want to hurt that resale you know.

As for you Radman, I know where you live! Be afraid, be very afraid. :guns: :p
