Not to deny what others have said about depreciation, but theres some timing involved too. After all, right now you can go order a '06, but once that's over with and you're stuck w/o, used prices typically go up a bit.

On the flip side, there are more FJRs in the US than ever before too.

Thanks again for all the replies. I agree with the prices that you all have said would probably be fair, but I am also taking into account that I know who owns it and I know how he takes care of his machines, which means something to me. I may try to sway him to 9K and see what he says.
