No longer frightened by corners!
It's called the Canuck Bra. Lots of support, but no cup!
That's true...because they outlawed foreign players from playing on 'merican teams? The canadians win...even if they don't win. More power to 'em...they gotta have a winter sport they can dominate in that ice and snow covered country. Now if the Rangers can send the Senators packing we'll have the Cup back in America where it belongs!
That's pretty harsh - the last Stanley Cup champs from Canada were the Canadiens in 1993 - that's a pretty long dry spell......Now if the Rangers can send the Senators packing we'll have the Cup back in America where it belongs!
Right you are Bud, in the last twenty years the Frostbacks have only won the Stanley Cup once! My Great-Great-Great Grandfather Lord Stanley really intended for his Cup to reside in America, just a little known fact of Hockey History! Now if the Rangers can send the Senators packing we'll have the Cup back in America where it belongs!
Indeed, that would be a great rule. U.S. teams can field only U.S. born players. I'm guessing the Cup would go back north,.......and STAY THERE..... The canadians win...even if they don't win.
Except the problem is his long term expensive contract and his IMHO questionable talent, just who is going to want him......Indeed! At least that useless Italian goalie has seen his last day guarding out net.

I don't know, they do get the odd freeze in Florida and wipe out the orange crop. A high-school buddy of mine spent time in Pensacola and played rec senior hockey until he was banned for fighting (non-contact league). Dave was always a bit of a hothead when he put on the skates but he is from Grimsby so it is completely understandable.I think there outta be a rule. If a city can't make a natural outdoor ice sheet for at least one day per calendar year, it should NOT be allowed an NHL franchise.
Hockey in Florida??? I mean..........really.......wtf?
Are you sure he wasn't banned for actually having talent and natural ability? I'm pretty sure a natural born and raised Canadian has a higher hockey skill level then a Floridian. I've played against a few few Canadians and they all kicked my ass.I don't know, they do get the odd freeze in Florida and wipe out the orange crop. Sadly Mick, I'm afraid that each of we beleaguered Paddies may have a Brit in the woodshed. It would be a lot less embarrassing if it was Jackie Robinson or Joe Louis!Indeed, that would be a great rule. U.S. teams can field only U.S. born players. (And Don, you are the spittin' image of Lord Stanley, which troubles me. He was a Brit. I know many an Irishman has beaten Royal knees, ...so maybe that explains it.)
FER CRYIN' OUT LOUD, Wheats!!...Winnepeg ...
