That corrosion was started way back working for some time.

I use a spray nozzle I can regulate the amonut of spray. I put it on a fine large (circular) mist and just use that, not blastiung anywhere etc. I just focus on the paimted parts, nowhere else.

After wiring in my new gps, I found the 12v cigarette charger connection burried deep in the front fairing was quite badly corroded, this means to me that no connection is immune from damp. Winter project, dismantle bike, check, clean, grease up all electrical connections I can get my stubbie fingers on.
