Vibration around 100-110mph?

Hey guys,

This is the update and ride report that I promised after installing the Ride-On. I made a $25 for two 8oz bottles on ebay and they accepted and shipped it out. 7 oz in front and 9oz in rear.

My problem was my shaky bike as the speed increased, especially around 90-110. Handle bars buzzed and the whole bike had a high frequency vibration to it at those speeds. Not horrible, but annoying and felt like it was robbing power too. I tried taking off the wheel weights that were put on from a static balancing job, - I witnessed it at my buddies garage and it seemed perfect. Without the wheel weights it was about the same problem.

Bottom Line: The Ride-On worked! My bike is perfectly smooth all the way up to very illegal speeds. After a couple miles of crusing around post install I got on the highway and it was already balanced my first run up to 100. Everything about the bike feels better, no more bar buzz, etc. It claims to continue to keep the tires balanced as they wear also, so I'm thinking this is going to be my new best friend. If it prevents flats (I've had two already on this FJR from nails) then that's even better. Awesome product for 25 bucks. Thanks to everyone who helped this.

This thread really hits home for me, just had both tire's changed (9K), went from the stock Metz. to PR II, I dont think it would've mattered what tire I put on, it would've come out the same, bike was always smooth, now after tire change it has some viberation, took it back to the Yamaha shop, said they checked and the front was still off but very little, now it's a little better but i'm getting a little handle bar buzz & still a little viberation from 80-100+mph, I sure hope the dyna beads work.

squirt some "Ride On" in your tires which will balance them and prevent air loss from punctures 1/4" or lessgreat stuff and water soluable, so easy for anyone to wash them out when tire replacement is needed
I used this stuff on my previous bike and like it very much. Th only thing I would say is you need to be aware of is when the stuff gets really cold, it'll feel like you have a square tire until you have gone a little ways - hard to describe, but hopefully you get the idea. I ride year round to work and have to park outside :( unfortunately. On those winter evenings heading home, those 1st couple turns were a bit interesting.

Mine too has the vibration around the 100-110 mark, I figured it was the tires because it hasn't always been that way.

Anyway, just ordered some Ride-On, I too will report my findings once I get the stuff.

Thanks,

J.
