Weather is looking good for the 19th. :yahoo:

Final date is SEPT. 19. That would be on a Saturday. 76 degrees in Vanc. and perfectly clear skies. Following the rain we should have nice and clear skies. :yahoo: Be there at or about Noon Time or don't be there. :p Don't forget to bring a lunch and drinks.

For those that wanted to go on the 12th and couldn't make the 19th or for those that want to go on the 12th and the 19th, I will see you there both days.

ahh yes, sunshine and warmth!!! (preferable to cooler, shady October days with wet leaves and possible frost on roads around there)

Anyone interested in coming from north/ eastside, Black Diamond Bakery has superb bkfsts!!! :nyam:

https://www.blackdiamondbakery.com/page02.htm (on side street, 1 block west of main road thru town)

From there to Windy Ridge is roughly three hours road time so leaving from there 8:45 - 9:00-ish would work. Meet for bkfst 8:00- 8:15-ish?? Travel Hwy 410 thru Enumclaw/Greenwater, over Cayuse Pass - Hwy 123 /12 (open- no travel restrictions as of 1 hour ago) thru Packwood and Hwy12 to Randle, then south to St. Helens (you know the roads) ;)

can we get a head count for who is going this weekend?
I'll check back here tomorrow (friday) late afternoon. Seems you never know on these forums who is doing what and when, and whether or not that will be subject to change (no slight intended ;) ). I may just do the 410-123-12 loop over Cayuse, White and Chinook Passes if this is a wash... :dntknw:

Wife and I will be there.

Doing 410, 123 go through Mt. Rainier (Stevens Canyon -Elbe) back towards Packwwod via Skate creek then onto Randle, FS25 and FS99. Be there about noon.

blu...you're killing me! I'm going to head up on Saturday (this weekend...ie the 12th...that would be September 12th) since the weather is looking really outstanding. So anyone else who is interested in joining AuburnFJR and me can meet us there at noon. We'll both be on the fast blue 06 models, maybe...unless I ride the Man-Strom. ;)

Ken, you are worse than an frick'n old lady. :p You can't make up your mind. ;)

The long range forcast for the area looks questionable for the 19th.

Here is Castle Rock on the West Side: Castle Rock

Here is Randle to the North: Randle

Here is Cougar to the South: Cougar

No matter what direction, it is lookng wet for the 19th. :( :p

Were going on the 12th when it is going to be sunny and 80+ B)

Makes no difference to me as I am going on the 12th for those guys that can't make it on the 19th and I will go on the 19th just because I can do it. :yahoo: What is important here is the Ride. The more the better as far as I am concerned. There are always those guys that want to make one of these and can't because of the date. I would like to see 20-50 show up each day, wouldn't that be interesting. Being that this is a ride to a location, everyone gets to make up their own "how to". All the better. More is better too. :) I will see you on what ever day you want to come. Have a great ride.

Weather.com has the 19th as excellent weather:

Randle 10 day

Good see you there. Looks like Accuweather has revised there forecast some already too. Not going to take the chance on the 19th though.
