Well, what kind of ***** brings a knife to a gun fight? I can guarantee you the cops did not go "full auto" in a crowd of people. Hell, maybe someone "swatted" those guys. All those poor OMG members were sitting around drinking Shirley Temples and some mean person called the SWAT team on them. Happens all the time... :no:

We have a huge ride in my home town coming up. It's a charity event called Ride for Sight. Huge V-twin crowd. I know the local Hell's Angels lads up here. Alone I can tolerate them but, in a group... sheesh. I'm in my tow truck for that weekend because idiots happen. $$$$ Should be a good weekend. I'll post pics of the stupidity.

While I wasn't there and most of the people reporting on it weren't either, the guy's video about how it started in the bathroom, spilled out in the restaurant where the cops said they had men posted, then out into the parking lot where the fight grew (again with cops all around), it seems odd that the cops only intervened once someone pulled a gun.

Were the cops hoping that they 2 groups would punch and knife each other to fatigue so they could mop up with less effort?

Getting ahead of ourselves. We do not know exactly who did what to whom and when they did it.

Um, the cops weren't on site. They said so themselves. They were near by, but we're not on premises. That could mean they were at the far side of the parking lot, but they were not close enough to intervene in an interior altercation. Their stance is they didn't take action until it spilled outside and shots were fired by bikers. Maybe not because they didn't want to, maybe they just weren't close enough.

Still don't get why this is the discussion though. No civilians, employees or cops got hurt, only ********. Looks to me like whatever they did, it helped end that BS before innocent people got hurt.

I went back and re-read the different reports and I mis-remembered that LEO were inside. There were up to 22 officers, including 10 SWAT, that were in the parking lot.

When the restaurant refused to ban the Confederation of Clubs, police stationed at least 22 cops including ten Swat officers from the Waco P.D. and the Texas Department of Public Safety in the parking lot outside the restaurant.

Seems odd that anyone would turn their pistols on such an arrayed force (with long arms). No one said they were smart though.

However, I did some digging and found at a link I previously posted, a video that includes a portion of the original press conference where the WPD Spokesperson stated that SWAT and DPS were on-site in anticipation (before any problems). Again, I apologize for not finding the "inside the place" reference I thought I'd read or heard. Without that, I recant that comment.
