This was my first "FJR" meet... I had a great time and really looking froward to many more trips with the group. I got to meet a lot of new people that where really great, and several new friends! I REALLY had a great time laughing at guys dragging there pegs in the mountains and then doing the same... You people know who you are... LOL

Just wanted to thank EVERYONE that showed up and got to hang out with.. GREAT PEOPLE out there!

By the way I'm the guy that won the "AWARD" at the beginning of the FJR dinner..... LOL

If anyone feels incline to share a "had a good time" or to "thank anyone" feel free to post here... I'm sure there are a ton of good fun stories ! Lets here 'em..... Add your total miles of your EOM trip to your story if you know... My total was 2985 Mi

Great finally meeting you Jaxon,

Heidi

PS... I was not one of the peg scrapers... I got my left peg once over the weekend. It was not intentional. I don't like scraping my pegs.

Hmmm, your forum name is still "No One" - I thought it'd be changed by now.

Well, you know- nobody wants to admit it, but *********s make the world a better place!

Had a bunch of fun meetin' ya!

I hope you put your award to good use.

Admins - should this thread be merged with the pantyhose thread??

Did you leave your award outside the front door on Saturday night? I seem to recall the old lady at the front desk looking at it when she was out for a smoke break.

This was our first FJR event as well. Susie and I had a blast. Good times, awesome roads, terrific people, cold beer, JWilly's green nut hugger story, that dude in the SUV with a cow bell, and those damn strawberries.

On our ride of route #1 on Sunday, Susie and I came across this sign. Appearantly sign makers in Virginia don't know what spell check is. I just may have to make that a new avatar...

I'd like to thank all those who worked to make this event what it was. :yahoo:

I'd also like to thank the guy that donated the loctite products. I think it was fjrintheville?

And I'd like to thank all those who shared a drink with me. :drinks:

Beer, scotch, shine, Jagermeister, high octane strawberries....

My poor liver...

Had great time!

I may have been the first crash of EOM 2008.

Thursday at 1300 at the beginning of rt 250, following luvtoride from Norfolk, VA.

Bailed out of my first mountain twisty and crossed over to the opposite shoulder, tried to stop but fell off the bike.

I was fine just rolled down the road a little and Severely bruised my ego. I was the guy with no right mirror (I left that on the side of the road) things got much better after that.

Road all day Friday and Saturday total about 700 miles. I now know what a twisty is and I want MORE

I am already looking to set up a track day school at VMI to improve my sport riding skills.

Maybe by EOM 2010 I could even keep up with Iris and Jim?

SO dose my little crash rate a crash sticker? or just just honorable mention as the dummy with one mirror.

Thanks again to everyoneJimstan

You have to know that there is a God when the only BMW rider at the Banquet wins a YAMAHA hat

Maybe next year we can give away a final drive...

Jax, it was great to finally meet you man. But you know its gonna cost you to keep my mouth shut over your award over on the darkside LOL!

+1 on the nick change to TwinPack!

I vote Jaxon changes his name to TwinPack until next year. :)

So here we are on Friday morning, coming out of Denny's after a wicked good breakfast...

But, oh... what's that over there behind Roadrunner? I think it's Jaxon's sag wagon:

That's awesome!

A Playgirl van at Denny's.

That's even better than the time I saw a Girls Gone Wild tour bus parked at a Cracker Barrel in Tifton, GA.

I would like to thank everyone for showing up. It's the effort of so many people to coordinate their lives for three or four days straight, that makes these events a success.

Oh, and I'd like to thank Michelin and JWilly for a firm dose of humility.

Also thanks to everyone for taking the very special "2-Up Wildlife Avoidance Tour" on Sunday morning. It was a nice ride.

And finally, thanks to every officer along the way who decided I was not worth it.
