TWN - Was that you I saw in Carp last Saturday the 21st around 12:30 or so? We did the 150 run into Carp and had lunch at Cabo Cafe. Saw a bagless '05 pull into the 76 station across the street but rider left his helmet on so couldn't tell if it was you or not. What a beautiful day it was for a ride!!!!! I love California!!!!!

T'was I. I thought that was an FJR parked a Cabo, but really didn't think to get a closer look. Need to develop a 'gang' type hand sign for just such occassions!

I think we'll be heading into Santa Babs for some chowda at Brophy Bros on Saturday!

This local talk roused my interest! Where's Brophy Bros in SB? I live 1 1/2 hours away from SB in SLO.

Well if you know the area there are 2 piers in Santa Barbara. Brophy Bros is located on the most Northern of the 2 piers. In the case that you don't know the area, I'm not sure of the street names that get you there.

TWN, can you help out there?

Just pull into the harbor parking lot and ride to the back. They used to have MC parking spaces, but they've nixed them. MC parking in city lots is free, so park anywhere. Brophy's is usually packed on weekends, but just walk toward the working dock and Brophy's is on your right, 2nd floor.

Actually the MC parking is back. Once you enter the parking lot proceed straight until the road into the lot turns to the left. The MC parking is on the left side in a small triangle shaped area and is marked as motorcycle parking only.

If you're in town TWN we'll be getting there approx 11:30 to beat the rush. The place gets packed after 12:00 or so.
