Jim... I think Jan gets off around 1, so we'll be walking around in early afternoon as opposed to the AM. I'm heading in with some friends and their kids with plans to get there between 12:30 and 1.

And secondly, I found out that BMW has rescheduled the release of the F800GS to next September. But there will be one in the BMW display area.

Im prolly going to go saturday...ill try to meet up with you Ari, if i do end up going. Its way to far away to know for sure what Im doing. (ive never been good at planning)
Alright. Welp, Imone go on down this morning.

==Aftermath==

I had a fun day trip. I scooted down the Baltimore-Washington Parkway with a couple of strangers from Pennsylvania on GSs. I found on-street parking a block away for free, which saved me $20. I ran into a few Forum folks and several FJR riders who knew of the Forum, but who were not members. I did run into drew231506, as expected. Unexpectedly, I ran into 3000psi. I talked to him for a long time - he seemed like a nice enough fellow. I spent a great deal of time talking to someone (I have his card, but he can post his name if he wants - I won't) who is thinking about buying an FJR. He turns out to actually *KNOW* AGirl. I think that's awesome, as she's clearly the sort of rider who would brighten your day. Even by proxy, through this guy I met, you could tell she makes an impact where she goes. I also saw 3dogs over at Lee Parks' booth, where I bought a nice set of deerskin gauntlet-style gloves.

In addition to the gloves, I bought a set of custom-molded ear plugs with embedded audio for this summer's long ride to Colorada, and perhaps beyond.

I have lots of pics. It's always a challenge to put in the hours to organize them all, but I should find the time before Monday.

Laters...

I'm going to go on Saturday. I'll be at the FJR display at noon. I'll be wearing a WFO shirt, orange pants, and red sneaks - if you can't find me, you shouldn't be riding.
He wasnt kidding...Ari you were the brightest individual in the building.

Of course there were a lot of Harley people...jk. It was nice to meet you. The place was jam packed with all types of different people. I did get to meet Lee Parks and talked to Tracy (3Dogs) who informed me of a new Total Control 2 class for those wanting more advanced training. Sounds kinda neat...if you can get 6 people he'll offer a discount and I'm sure he'd offer a discount to the forum as well. (just guessing)

I wouldnt mind havin one of these neat motorcycles. (or most of the ones i saw today)

Well, right back at you Ari. It was great to meet you and chat. When I saw your attire and interest in the 08 FJR, I guessed you were active on the forum but had no idea you were the fellow in the drink with the white helmet. Always nice to be able to match a friendly face with a name ... and thank you in person for the many posts that had my wife wondering what could possibly have me in hysterics on a motorcycle forum.

Bought some of that Zooke anti fog stuff and tried it on the ride home. Didn't seem to work any better than catcrap (anti-fog wax). It is amazing how much better those products work during the demonstration. Hey, but now I'm good for 10 years on anti-fog wax.

Till next time...
