Water pump started leaking out of the weep hole or bye the big o-ring. Pulled the pump took apart and cleaned, parts are 10 days out, 70 degrees this weekend, after cleaning I put a little lube on the ceramic seal and a new o-ring for the housing to motor. Started it up went to 2k idle and at 2 bars went to 4k idle, water level didn't change. Does it somehow need to be primed? I took the pump back apart leaving the back half in the block, started it and the impeller spins fine.there was no water in the pump when I took it back apart. Help??!!

What is up with this new software we're working with? Never had this problem with the old system? What gives?

I'm gonna burp some beer out.....just for a check. I'm not getting rid of all of it.......just doing a check.

Sounds to me like you have an air lock. Put everything back together. Suggest you open (or remove) the filler cap to allow air in, then open the drain plug. When you get a stream of fluid coming out of the drain, close it up. Then refill the system.
