I'm a hockey fan, but I'm not real exceited they reached a deal. The season is half gone, they'll all probably suck, so who wins the cup afte rhalf a season. I may go to a game or two max.

Bettman needs to go PERIOD! The guy is a jerk! This is the thrid season they've had a lockout by the "owners" Bettman's advice I'm sure. The 2004-2005 season was a total loss. The second time in Stanley Cup history the cup was not presented. The first time was in the 1920's when a flu epidemic prevented it (or somethign like that), go figure. In less than ten years Bettman has brough hockey to a standstill three times! The guy is not fit for the job!

I'm an ice hockey fan in UK.
If the NHL is back up and running, we'll lose the few guys who came over to ice for UK teams.
Shame, some of them showed the difference in standard between the leagues - some nice skills.

Seriously - I'm glad they came to an agreement not for the players or owners, but for the folks who have been missing out - concession folks and, around here, the establishments in the vicinity of the Arena.
DAMN it OM! This made me shoot a crouton outta my nose! Do you have ANY idea how painful that is, and the damage that a projectile crouton does to a monitor?

The Leafs have fired Brian Burke. This obviously means that a new plan is in place - The CUP will becoming back to Toronto.
