I frequent this site occasionally. Primarily to see what tricks and gear FJR riders are using. Good info on tires, gadgets and others stuff that relate to sport touring specifically can be found on any ST oriented website so there are several I read for said reason. The fjrforum is no exception.
In the past I've given your own "Wicked Webby" (Matt) a hard time in a fun sort of way.
I finally met Mr. Matt at West Yellowstone recently. He is a great guy and enthusiastic about riding. A little "balls to the wall" edgy...but then he's only in his 30's. Matt has a beautiful bike...and in spite of the fact it's an FJR it STILL hauls azz. I think I overheard Rich say he got a GPS verified 157 top speed on his beast during this trip!
Of course what Rich didn't tell me was he threw it off a cliff to attain that velocity.
Seriously though - Matt, it was enjoyable meeting you and seeing your "world famous" FJR in person. Hope to ride with you sometime in the future. And just think Matt...when you get a little older...you might be able to handle one of these!
