Nah...That was off a curb. Don't think cages would have helped that much.

Yup, that extra 8" of elevation rendered the sliders and bag guards useless. I am confident that had I been on an even surface that neither I or the bike would have been damaged.

My opinion? The sidecases are my crash bars. They're standard equipment from Momma Yama.
