Great Pictures! Nice to chat at dinner on Saturday too. The big dog ride was definitely the highlight of the trip. Glad I made it in one piece. It will be hard to ever top that one. :)

Simply awesome pics guys, you do know how to chronicle a trip! :yahoo:

Too bad you ran out of memory. If I had one of those ultra-fast shutter cameras, the kind they use to catch hummingbirds wings, I might have been able to capture the girls zipping to the Lake Alpine lounge to self medicate.

Andrew, your being cheated, your wife only snaps you when your off the bike and unaware. Next time we'll get you with your lean angle showing.

Yes, it's the details like the girls running off for drinks that I often forget! That happened before I could take a leak!

Lean angle shots of me will show me sporting my new reflective Yamaha stickers that I got at WFO from Alex.

Nice job on the pictures Joyfulgirl! Terrie and I had a great time on the ride and the weekend. but she informed me that she still owes you a drink. we will have to get together again soon.

Nice photos Sherri! :clapping:
Thanks Groo! Appreciate the recognition! :D It's a lot of fun. Just think what we'd all be missing if I were to get my own bike... In good conscience, I just couldn't deprive you all.

It was good meeting you!

Thanks! I really enjoyed getting to meet Terrie and riding with you both too! I don't doubt that we will be seeing each other soon. It's great that such nice people like yourselves live close enough so we can get together. :)

Cheers,

Sherri

Now boys, you must understand that us girls get thirsty after a long day of riding! :) It's because of all that skillful piloting that you boys are so capable of - it takes our breath away! ;) heheh

Wow. What fantastic pics. Thanks for taking your photographer along for the ride.
Hey! I recognize that avatar pic! Didn't we meet at WFO-5? I am terrible with names but was shown a pic on a camera where you (i assume) had gotten so hot that you jumped into the lake with all your gear on! Was that you, or is this just a coincidence?

Thanks for the praise on the pics! I originally started out hoping that the pics I take would be a fun thing to look at later, but since Andrew posts so many on his ride reports, I started to feel pressured to make sure I have plenty of good ones to choose from! (We need to buy some more memory cards! I killed a gig of memory in just one ride! That is a record for me!) :D Everyone now pretty much expects good photos from us... you can't imagine the pressure I am under! hehehehe

We'll get the added memory before that! We are doing a ride in for our BMS custom work on the 28th and that means a lot longer rides.

I am trying to convince Sherri to do the SS1K with me so she can be an IBA member too! Can you imagine the pics in a 1k ride???

Gotta get more memory!

Honey,

I doubt a seat alone could convince me to be that insane as to do an SS1K! Sorry to disappoint, but you are on your own on that one!

Oh pooh.... you can do a SS1K in 15 hours easy... just pick a spot 500 miles away, and it's 7 hours out, and 7 hours back...

Just had to stick in a quick "thanks a million" to my new CA friends. Sylvia and I finally got home tonight after 15 days on the road and something north of 4,500 miles. Orangevale told me that JoyFulGirl was looking for a back brace for riding, and after I saw her antics twisting around to get all of those pics behind and beside her, I'm starting to see why her back gets sore!

Outstanding ride, and a great job by BlueStreek showing this northener a spirited but safe pace though a bunch of magical roads in NV and CA. I don't think I slowed the group down too much...

Fabulous pics and a great touch on the narration. Looking forward to seeing you all next year in Colorado (I know this great road near Ouray...) :yahoo:
