I just read the pinned message on the main forum. Before I break any rules, can someone clue me in as to what a dogpile is?

That when everyone attacks someone on the forum... acceptible if its an ****** or troll, I never cought the thread but I guess a newbie made a post that made someone think he was a troll or ****** and there was a group attack.

1) Something the aware step around or over.

2) What happens to FiFi if she slips out

3) What happens to wise guys if the majority of the forum takes offense to something they wrote

dogpile

(Usenet, probably from mainstream "puppy pile") When many

people post unfriendly responses in short order to a single

posting, they are sometimes said to "dogpile" or "dogpile on"

the person to whom they're responding. For example, when a

stupid newbe(such as myself) posts a simplistic question about a stealth FJR (what is this Area 51?),

he can expect to be dogpiled. :p

Ever been in a neighborhood that has a lot of dogs ?

One dog barks, then another, then another, then another, you get the idea... Sometimes one dog barks in this forum & every other dog has to bark louder & longer just to prove hisself. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's justified, sometimes it's just stooooopid.

Forum Rules 1-6

1. No **** (though links to it are okay, if labeled NWS).

2. No religious/moral philosophy/political crap. There are countless forums/blogs on the web if you want to delve into these divisive topics. This is a motorcycle forum. That said, political discussions SPECIFICALLY about pending motorcycle legislation, regulation, and laws are allowable.

3. No politically-correct fucktards.

4. No ass-clowns in general.

5. No personal attacks. However, when some ****** desperately needs it for violating Rules 1-4, group dog-piles are perfectly acceptable.

6. Those who are easily offended should proceed with caution. Posts in this forum may or may not contain adult language/themes. No whiney-gash crying about them allowed. Deal with it.

The thread that Scab provides a link to, well this fellow violated rulle #4 with an ****** posting, so of course our valiant forum members invoked Rule #5. In a case such as this, the person that violates rule #4 must keep Rule # 6 in mind (Deal with it).

Dogpiles were when kids were playing and would all pile on top of someone (playing tag, etc.). Similar to when a bunch of football players all "dogpile" on the person with the ball.

In the forum context, it usually means when everyone heaps posts in opposition to the post of one member.

....Memories of the way we were...
Actually, the way we still are. The ****** just has to be confirmed (like Downn2) as opposed to suspected. Dogpiles are still perfectly acceptable, in the right situation.
Dogpile responsibly.
