Nice day today.

Should ride. Did ride.

PR2 a bit worn, plugged last night.

What would Skooter do? Ride, baby Ride. So I rode, baby rode.

Dang it, 45 miles later..

Wanted to take pix of this old barn for Andrew for over 10 months now. The flat tire now allows time as the little compressor does.

Here's a photo of the plug kit that DOES NOT WORK, stay away. Sure, it travels nice but is useless, plug undone in 50 miles.

Here's a photo of the stuff that works to seal the hole.. Some of you need visual clues, so here you go..

The key is to have a tool large enough to plug the hole..

DSC00398.jpg

And of course, you have to first prepare the hole..

Too lazy to flip the pix, but you get the ***** of all of this..

Brand new 2005 vintage SkooterG tire installed tonight... LOL

Ready to Rock, baby!

Ain't that the truth. :D

So size matters...or is it how well you use the tool??? :p
neither matters if the 'mechanic' is a moron...

j'es sayin'
You two (B & T) are killin' me !! (btw, I totally agree with you both of you)
...and to think I didn't even mention how easily the new tire went on when using RuGlyde lubricant??

obaby :dribble:

Bad news... using a reamer is no good...making the hole even bigger than it initially presented itself no good, it actually damages the tire even further.

Having a Dynaplug unit with you would have solved this flat in no time.

I'm confused ,, is it the size of the tool,, or how you use it ??

what about a moron mechanic that knows how to use a big tool ??

or maybe a really good mechanic that has a small tool ???

the bigger tool is probably easier to get a good grip on....??

maybe even both hands..

I did like the pictures .. the rubber bands ,, and the slot cut in the tool..

If I cut a slot in my tool will it work OK ??? I also wondered about that little slit

in the end of the tool ,,,and how it worked,,,

I'm so confused ,, think I'll go take my extzens and take a nap..

Wow, you worry about this all waaaaaay too much.

Do you, by chance, suffer from 'tool envy' ??

if so, I hear the NorCal Cali boys have quite an active support group going on. you may want to drop one of them a PM :p

Wow ,, I didn't think I had "TOOL ENVY " ,,,

But now I'm starting to wonder,,, With all this talk about the right size tool ,,knowing how to use it,, etc.

How do I know I've got the right size tool ??? And If I know how to use it ??

I've never had a flat ,,, but now you have me worried that I might get a flat in the middle of a ride ...

and if it goes flat,,, will I be able to pump it back up,, so I can finish the ride,,, :dribble:
