You idiots!

California has "mountains" huh? Around here, we live at 5000 feet, and are 20 minutes away from 11,000 feet. The roads aren't the best in the world, but they're good.

Decent summers, mild winters, low population, liberal speed limits, and a limited number of Canadians. We're running out of water, but there's plenty of beer. We have green chile, red chile, fresh beef, tons of Mexican food, no CA shenanigans and Hispanic women. Fishing, hunting, skiing, dirt bike trails, handgliding, and no professional **** head team to support.

On second thought, it SUCKS here. Don't move here. It's much better where you live. :****:

It was 57 F for my ride in to work tonight and should be about 34 F when I ride home in the morning. My son watched me gearing up this evening and told me that my in-laws "just can't believe you ride your motorcycle all the time". I choked back most of the first things that came to my mind about my in-laws.

Tomorrow will be 72 F and will be the first warm day we have had in a while. This winter has been almost like a real winter for us down in the swamp.

Oh, and with regards to New Mexico... There are lots of wonderful things to love about that state. The problem is the law enforcement guys, nobody likes those guys.

Son #2 just reported to the AFB there in Albuquerque, and son #3 is at the Minot AFB. I highly suspect #3 will accuse Mom and I of liking son #2 more in the winters. I can just hear it now..."How come you and Mom don't visit me in January?"

Maybe because it's much too close to Canada??

As reported, -40 yesterday, warmed up to a balmy -22 with a stiff North breeze. Oh, and about 4 or 5" of snow. I haven't even ate breakfast yet and the driveway has been snow-blowed, directly back into my face.

Forget SC for relocation...our mountains are tiny and I hear our week of winter is coming this coming week!

Plus, everyone's on meth, racist, and own 7 guns...one for each still.

Minot is considered an Air Force Penal Colony. Being sent there is just short of being given capital punishment which is Thule Greenland.

Was it your son on the little Beemer in Salida? If so, is he the one here? Let me know when you come visit. We have cold beer and good food.

Today, the Day Cupid's Arrows Fly, it is already 50F at 11:45 with nary a cloud. Stopped by the office between Big Money Rally bonus photos to check on a few emails, and got bogged down with this Forum. Off to the miniscule Georgia mountains where all the roads are practically as straight as middle Indiana.

Yep, our one-of-two weeks of winter moves in this weekend, looking at unusually frigid temps for us. Luckily for me Thursday I get a recreational mini-vacation to visit friends up by D.C. where the highs in the teens oughta be a blast.

That is the one who's out your way, Lance (Roadrunner19 on the forum). I know he's pretty excited about exploring what NM has to offer.

As for the one who's in Minot, that base was his first choice after training. He heard the hunting was great up that way.

And here in MN, it's effing -4 and my bike likely won't see the sun this month.
