Chilly, but sunny here. Nothing to worry about. Kind of like El Toro Joe's weather without the snow/rain, clouds, the ******* Cleveland Browns and flatness.

Minus 1 degree and three more inches of snow last night; getting plenty of use from my little tractor with snow plow. BUT...it is supposed to hit 40 Sunday with a low of just 17. That's riding weather in these parts! Trouble is every road out of here in every direction except one means crossing the Continental Divide...which means the potential for a still icy pass. We will see...

Looks awesome Mr. At rophy.
It was. What the picture doesn't show is the wind. Without my m/c clothing, I'd have been freezing. I'm surprised the clouds aren't blurred by their movement. (That's not true, it was so bright I knew the camera exposure time would be fast, turns out it was 1/800 s.)
The UK is under a series of storms sweeping across the country, forecasters know they are coming, but not exactly when. Saw the sunshine outside, SWMBO said "Why don't you go out while the weather's nice?" Never one to argue (at least with her), out I went. When the weather started to go dull, I aimed for home.

This evening, it's been hacking it down with rain. Tonight, we're due fo a hard frost. Doubt I'll be on the bike tomorrow, there'll be ice on the road.

When it is winter in Arizona and the days are mild there are only 8 hours of available day light. It makes for a for a short day.

In summer when the weather is mild in the north we have 16 or so hours of daylight. In the summer at at 6:00am it is 85 in Phoenix. Shade is a commodity. It is the Valley of the Blast Furnace - there is no escaping the heat from June thru August.

Simply based on available daylight I'd rather be north than south.

Hope you are doing well Don! You should join Patch for rehab.

We have clear skies in Seattle. It think I will gear up and go for a ride on Saturday or Sunday - I have heated gear.

--G is drying out. --G is also employed by a local utility district and is working like two dogs to restore power to the folks who were affected by the windstorm we had early this week. A tip of the cap to --G.

Drove across SD today to deliver and pick up a truck for a dealer. A little ice on the road between Wall and Kadoka, otherwise a real pretty trip with aa few inches of whiteness up here on I-90.

37.5 degrees, oh yeah. Got in a 35 mile ride.

Going again tomorrow but its going to be warmer. Might make it to 45 degrees.

Clear and cold. Supposed to be 14 in the morning . I'm going to spend the day tomorrow doing my fall burning so I can screw off in the shop next week. Working on Carver's stuff is way more fun than doing chores.

68 Sunday, time to wash the race track off the KTM after a spin. May have to throw a leg over the KLR too. Almost winter with colder weather on the way around Turkey day.
