I think i will just plan on leaving here early and meeting you in Paso.

Brother Richard, If you and Big-D/Dan C. already had a ride routing planned out for Thursday, PLEASE-POR FAVOR continue on with your FJR motorcycling agenda.

Fairlaner: When Dan The Man called me last night about sharing the room, I had just assumed he was riding out on Thursday. BUT, if he had already set up a day's ride with you on Thursday, you two must go ahead with this. It actually makes much more sense for me living in Phoenix to head out West on Interstate 10 and then 210 North to Interstate 5 Northbound and then direct West again to Paso Robles on California 41. I only posted the I-40 and CA-58 routing to hook up with Big-D at LHC!

Don we had nothing planned, I was on the fence about leaving here on Thursday but i don't need to leave Paso on Thursday morning just to return back there thursday night as i had ridden those roads several time before.

I will just leave here early Friday morning and blast straight up to Paso before you guys leave.

I don't know whats worse, having a Harley trying to keep up, or a Hondapotamus straining to keep up with an FJR. Its kind of like having a '71 Pinto keep up with a Audi A8.

Actually, Richard and I will be grabbing a pic in Crescent City to fulfill a requirement. So Don, you are completely clear to steer clear of the L.A. madness and divert to LHC to join forces with one Big-D as we cross the Tehachapi Mountain Range into the valley oceanic views, almost! If we were to take I-10 through L.A., it will add another 100 miles and countless hours to our already long 7+ hour ride, not including your 2.5 hours from Phoenix to Havasu.

"2.5 hours from Phoenix to Havasu"! Mary, Mother of God: Is Fairlaner now teaching you how to ride!?!?! Running my old Mustang or any of mi motos 10mph+ over on the route from mi Casa in downtown Chandler to my vacation home at the Islander Resort has always required a minimum of 3.5 hours. You must ride it like Richard!

Better make it 4 1/2...yer taking the HD. What happened to Lucy Liu? You get her all dirty and soiled up?
Donna and I are riding the 2002 H-D Dyna Super Glide Big Twin "Pam Anderson" for two reasons: 1) Out of all of mi motos, Donna sincerely feels it is really the most comfortable to ride on as a passenger. 2) I try to vary up the riding mileages between my machines, since the BMW GS's are always in Mexico, I leave once again for San Carlos y Banamichi, Sonora Estado on March 31 for a week aboard my GS "Senorita Salma Hayek", and since my Miss Lucy Liu is always riding to FJR Forum Events: "Big Jugs" Pammie has the least amount of miles on her in the Stanley M/C Fleet. My FXD is fast and thanks to Performance Inc. suspension handles great!

Great! I look forward to seeing it.

...and you and Donna of course. :D

Who knows, maybe I will become an HD convert and leave the FJR fold...

...do HDs do dirt? Well I bet Steve McQueen could make HDs do dirt.

Richard has become my mentor by teaching me all sorts of bad habits. He's already got me liking Jim Bean Black. Oh yeah... why not Maddog 20/20 or Early Times! Whats next, multiple pairs of shoes that match?

The Wing will be staying at home for this ride, i seem to remember an awful lot of FJR's trying to keep up with the Hondapotomus in DV last week.....most of them failed i might add.

Sierra Nevada status alert. I was up at Kirkwood on Hwy 88. Snow pack is all-time. Here is a shot heading toward the Spur behind a plow and another car.

Skiing anyone?
