To those that have said they would put me up for the night...there are NOW THREE of us riding together. I/We wouldn't want to take advantage of you guys like that...so unless your place is a huge ranch with lots of space, we wouldn't want to impose like that. PMs being sent shortly.

We still want to meet up with you on this trip and ride with you though. :clapping:
You're welcome to stay at the Honderosa. Really.

Given the oral/verbal back and forth by barb and Tyler in this thread, I can definitely use another wingman. I have a feeling barb and Tyler would chew me up and spit me out...if I was alone.
You're such a weenie... scared of a coupla girls.
They should be! Look at that wig you made me wear.

You guys are cracking me up I signed on to see if ya all was still doin Alice's and now I forgot why I signed on!

G-man yours is coming, T-lady just not sure? The prim and proper scoter pic or the wild eyed biker gale........... I'll wait a bit.

Good Morning Mark,

Niehart and No One have found out that the Yamaha Super Tenere's will not deliver until June. This is great news in that it will let me get to visit you guys in California.

I have to talk to Seth's Mom Jean first in order to switch our custody days of Seth around, but I do hope to be able to ride with you and the NorCal Cretins for 3 days!!

Damn, now Mama Yamaha pushed the release out to June.

Ive been doing good home work.. The dealer computer says June on the first ones... My dealer has told me there is still a good chance they call us in " MAY "... just FYI.......

My thought is this, they never said the first of May... they just said May... So to me what the big difference in the end of the month of May and the first of June....... LOL I'm optimistic! LOL Heck, at least we get the darn thing.... If I have to wait a few more days to come in, that's just a few more bucks I can save to pay for it... :yahoo:
Saludos No One, Por favor, do your Papa Chuy Viejo a big favor and run my Priority Delivery Order #: 156491. Muchas Gracias, Mi Amigo y Compadre!!! Recuerdos, Don

Good Morning Beautiful Miss Tyler,

In Post #171 I have let Wheatie know that his Papa Chuy will be riding with him for three days. Is your Itinerary below from January 7 still the "Real Deal"? If so, I will ride over on Thursday 5/19 from "The Valley of the Blast Furnace" and get cheap lodging next to the intersection of 101 and 46. Wheatie: My cellphone is 480-440-4666.

Friday 5/20 I'll stay with my friend Marlin Noel, she has a house on Seacliff Beach in Aptos. Then I will stay at your other recommendations and blast home MON 5/23.

I've sent Mark a more detailed route but here's a general recap:

WEDNESDAY, May 18

If Honderosa is not available, suggested lodging at Adelaide Inn, 1215 Ysabel Avenue, Paso Robles. Dinner at Big Bubba’s Bad BBQ.

THURSDAY, May 19

Dcarver ride – if Carver isn’t available, you MUST ride 229 (aka Rossi’s Driveway)… probably several times!! Consider staying in Cambria at The Cambria Palms Motel, 2662 Main Street. Motorcycle friendly place, nice owners. Walk to Mexican restaurant down the street for dinner. Consider the Hearst Castle Tour. Another attraction – Nitt Witt Ridge, the poor man’s Hearst Castle (look it up!).

FRIDAY, May 20

• Meet in Paso Robles @ junction of 101 and 46 East - route will include Vineyard, Peachy Canyon, Chimney Rock, Jolon Rd, 25 - likely he'll stay with Highlander

SATURDAY, May 21

• Hwy 9 (direction dependent upon where staying that evening) - Alice's for breakfast, 84, Pescadero Rd, Stage Rd, make way to GG Bridge (Marin Headlands route), some Marin/Occidental/Russian River backroads (depending on time/energy), stay at Hampton Inn & Suites, 8937 Brooks Rd South, Windsor

SUNDAY, May 22 – several options

• 101 to Dry Creek Rd.

• Dry Creek becomes Skaggs Spring

• Stop at bridge – Annapolis Rd. to Hwy 1

OR

• 101 to 128 to Hwy 1

OR

• Backtrack out 116 to Hwy 1

• North Hwy 1 – lunch in Mendocino or Ft. Bragg

• Continue Hwy 1 north into Leggett

• Hwy 101 North into Fortuna – Avenue of the Giants too!

• Stay at Comfort Inn, 1583 Riverwalk Drive, Fortuna, CA

MONDAY - the Northern contingent takes over from here B)

Hey Mr Don Stanley,

I have kept post #1 updated with the current itinerary as we know it. I know griff has some reservations still to make away from the group dates, but you should contact my personal assistant griff if you want more information...as he is making the reservation for this 2011 - 3 Jokers Run. :)

Tyler has made lots of plans to enable us to see some great roads and meet bunches of our California FJR friends...and for that we thank her. She has also made suggestions for motels when we are away from the group...however, we may be staying at some less expensive motels as we are tight-fisted *******s who are trying to make this trip more affordable. As evidence, we are typically staying 3 to a room with me on a sleeping bag on the floor. This may last for awhile until airboss gets tired of tripping over me on the way out the door to get a smoke. ;)

In any event, keep your eye on updates to post#1, and contact griff regarding the reservations. It will be good to see you and ride with you...only a couple months away now! :clapping:

Are you going to go meet us up in the canyons of Utah and go through Death Valley with us? Or are you going to meet us in southern California? Either way, I'm sorry your new bike delivery got delayed...but glad I'm gonna have a chance to ride a ways with you. It sounds like we're gonna have a CONVOY, rubber duck...

Good Morning griff,

I am addressing this post directly to you, since you are obviously "The Brains" of this Rolling Illinois Cluster Feck! My plan is to ride with you guys on Friday starting off from either Paso Robles or Cambria, your call. Then peeling off from your group to get to the San Jose California Airport by 1800 hours to pickup my Girlfriend Donna flying in from PHX.

Saturday morning, Donna and I will ride North with the Group to Windsor and spend the night. Repeat on Sunday night by spending the night in Fortuna. On Monday, Donna and I will leave early in order to get her back to San Jose for her 1500 hours flight back home to Chandler. [email protected] or 480-440-4666 Please keep me in your loop!

Just for grins and giggles, I brought Wheatie's first post forward for ease of viewing and because I'm basically lazy! I will plan on booking Donna and I on April 1, Fool's Day, just in case there are any further changes of lodging locations!

I meet up with my Uncle in Lincoln and stay there while griff and airboss stay at a local motel.

Fri May27 Leave my Uncle's in Lincoln, meet up with griff, and part ways with airboss as he heads north to Washington to visit relatives, and griff and I head for eastern Nevada or Utah.

Sat May28 Leave Nevada/Utah for Denver

Sun May29 Leave Denver for Wheaton

Mon May30 Go to Memorial Day parade...and relax/take a nap.

Hope to see some of you as we pass thru. :clapping:

I will update this first post with locations and more detail in itinerary periodically.

Hey Don,

Per post#1, we'll be starting from the Paso Robles Travel Lodge and meeting up with Tyler who is staying elsewhere in Paso Robles, giving her a few hugs and then riding a route that she has got set up for the day. If I were you, I would get your Irish butt down to Paso Robles and kiss Tyler's feet and ask nice like if you can ride along with her.

If you want to know the current status of the itinerary...keep your eyes glancing at post#1 now and then. I think the portion of the trip you are joining us on is pretty well set, though. Bring some good beer with you again...that Canadian beer in Nakusp was pretty darn good, eh?

Thanks Wheatie, I took the first step and have Donna booked flying into Oakland International Airport. I couldn't get her on a non-stop to SJC, she would've had a 6 hour flight changing planes in either Salt Lake City or Los Angeles. Her Brothers Chris and Tony live in San Leandro, CA; that's Donna's hometown where she was raised and went to High School. If I am running late on Friday, they will pick her up for me. If I arrive early on Monday, I will drop her off at their home; keep on rolling to AZ.

wheatonFJR, There are multiple points on Tyler's Irish Anatomy that Papa Chuy would love to kiss, but her feet are aways down the list; around #6 or #7, perhaps even further down if I get hung up for awhile on locations #1 and #2!!!

Don, it's not like you don't have permission.

Hell, a couple of times, I've heard Tyler offer you encouragement -

"Hey Don. Kiss my ***!"
