Passed a minivan on the way home yesterday-got the FJR down in third ,hit redline, shifted twice and backed off...At which point my Escort told me I had just been zapped with instant on by a Stattie.. Good thing he was a friend of my trooper riding buddy. I think it was 89 in a 55. Don't need that gorgeous Kaw...think I should trade the FJR for a Burgman.

A Concours that will KILL YOU!!! :) :) :)
Yeah but, She Lives!

?
Crap....I wasted 5 minutes of my life waiting for the punchline that never came.

SkooterG: This is because Bluesy, Marcus, Hudson and RadioHowie had a little Italian in them once and they never got over it! Ah, Memories!!! I just hope that Jorge does not post up another lame ass video link!

I said a long time ago, "If I can't ride it fast, I don't want to ride it." That may sound stupid, but I don't ride a motorcycle just so I can putt it around. When I gas that ******, I want her to move...The FJR moves just fine, but there are some out there I lust for. Bitch is, I donno how many of them I can do 900 mile days on.

Meeself- I preferred my '66 426 Wildcat !
We had a '67 when I was a kid. 430CID, high-performance rear end. Our first air-conditioned car. It was gone the year before I started driving. Coincidence? I think not.

Picture from December '68, at my grandmother's in Norman, OK, Dad picking us up to move us to Baltimore. (He'd just come home from an overseas job.) That's me on the trailer fender, with some broad they found at the hospital a year after I was born, supposedly from the same parents as me.

Damn trailer nearly killed us on that trip when it blew a tire and started swaying, pulled the car back and forth across both lanes of our side of the highway, finally coming to rest by curbing the left-side wheels on the median and nearly yanking the hitch out the back of the car. I remember a long night waiting for a replacement trailer to show up, then unloading and loading into the replacement trailer. You couldn't just throw stuff from one to the other, you had to set it out and load the trailer properly, pieces and boxes had to be in the same places or close to it for the weight balance.
