Great pics WhipWhat kind of saddle bags are those?
I special ordered the Givi bags....took awahile but it was worth it for us...

We travel 2 up a lot and I've been tryin to build the perfect sporttouring bike.

The stretch of CA 1 between Carmel and Cambria is one of the most amazing rides I ever took. I highly recommend a ride from Carmel to Morro Bay on 1, it should be on everyone's "must ride" list.

Really nice pic Whip, looks like you had a great time. So, how come the Givi side cases vs. Yamaha?

I had been strapping Helen 2 Wheels med. duffles to the top of the Yamaha bags....now because the Givi are so much bigger I don't have to.

An unintended consequence is the added frame stiffness do to the way the Givi mounts attach the can bracket to the seat frame. I like the extra strength.
