On the first of Novenber my wife and I took off to visit "The Peoples Republic of California"

Started 8:30 am from San Antonio Tx.

The second night we stayed in Borrega Springs Ca. at Zorro's boyhood home(That's what they told me <_< )

Fear from global warming may have caused this over reaction

More to come.........................................

Very nice photos! Thanks for improving the Cultural Learnings of FJR Roadtrips for Make Benefit Glorious State of California. :hi: Seriously, the PCH north route (up to/though Big Sur) is my #1 favorite. Check out Sand Dollar State Beach if you get a chance. Campground across the road. Accessible fire roads way above. Always a spiritual road trip for me.

Great fotos and narrative, Mr. Whip.. As you were heading north from Cambria, did you have an 06 pass by heading south bound? I saw a 2 up fjr with 'unusual' bags... I'm thinking it might have been you!

"Hey, how did you mount up the Givi bags... Did you get the mounts from Givi, or make your own..?"

I had to purchase the PL357 for the saddle bags and the SR357 for the trunk..both from Givi...wasn't easy..Givi US doesn't have them....I complain to Givi Italy and they made Givi US get them for me.

It was worth it for us we needed the extra space....I was tired of attaching Helen 2 wheels bags to the top of the stock saddle bags.
