I did 1100 miles on my 06 before I got the refund, I have currently done 600 on my new 05.
Can anyone beat that??? I'm sure you can. Please be honest.

Post your guestimated mileage on FJR's only

State over what time period

On how many FJR's
I bought my '04 new in Aug.of '03 and sold it in April of '05 with over 54,000 miles.

Got my 03 in October 05. I've put 12,700 on it so far. BUT...... that included a summer spent without riding, due to Andy's accident. Now, I'm sharing my mileage between two bikes. The Ninja has about 1200 miles since Christmas.

41K....2005 model, took delivery in mid August of 04. GZ rode it the other day and said "it still pulls like a mule..."
Good times.
Yeah, but his bike is close to 100K. That's pretty much saying your 41K bike runs like it's got 100K on it.
I should have been more specific...he said that he's ridden several bikes with around 25 or 30K on them and that mine seems to pull harder than some of those with less mileage than mine.

Geez...can't leave anything to chance around here.

GunMD's bike runs very well for its age. Better then others with the same mileage. I might also add my bike runs the same, but doesn't feel as smooth as his. Maybe it will once my major reconstruction is complete. Seems I'm replacing the whole drive-train.<G>

My 2005 has 90K currently. And it only has approx. 2,500 on it since my injury in July. Thats 2,500 in 8 months for those of you bad at math.

So, historically speaking, if I had "rode my plan" so to speak ( not fell on my ass ) and kept up my average of 4500 a month, my bike would be at 126K today.

So if your question is most miles period, then a handful of folks who ride earlier model bikes ( Skoot, Banfelder, etc ) win.

If it's miles divided by time, ya'll just fightin' for 2nd. :yahoo:

HTH,

These mileages are unheard of in the UK. The few high mileage bikes that you come accross in the UK seldom go over 40k. If you look here https://www.autotrader.co.uk/BIKES/bikes.jsp (You need a UK postcode to search try SK3 0RG). The highest I can find is an ex-police ST1100 with 67k on it.

Our cars often go over 100k, but bikes seem never to go much over 25k'ish.

I'm exactly one month away from the one-year anniversary of buying the 2005 Blue Rocketship, during which time I've put 21,000 miles and one nasty-ass crash on her (and me  ). And I still can't get enough riding time on her: My commute is the best part of my day!

P.S. See the fellah in the photo over my left shoulder with the blonde mohawk? He's one of two Canucks I ran into crossing north on the Golden Gate Bridge to this look-out point. They were on their way home on a couple of dual-purpose bikes, having gone from Canada down Baja in Mexico, and back up. Ah, to be young again.....

I once crossed a very high mountain pass, higher than any other, does this count for anything? :D

I rode lil over 6,000 miles in the last 33 days.... But still only got 33,500 on my 05.... Still a young pup to some of these guys!

Er, your '05 is our '06. My US '05 was purchased in August '04, produced in May '04 (IIRC). We cheat the resale that way.
I used to think that until I had my get-off (totaled 05 that was purchased in July 04)in October 06 & checked out the milage deductions in the value book. I got a fair insurance settlement but it wasn't what I thought it would be from reading advertisements and the forum. Things have a way of making up for a model year that is longer than a year long. Sorry to be the bearer of less than favorable news sorry TWN. Ron

I have 99.5 miles and i havnt left the garage for a week fearing that i would cross the 100 mile threshold.

Tomorrow ill drive it to get the mail from my mailbox
