So, who still is planning on showing up? Same days (Thursday to Sunday)? Several have talked about it, but I thought it'd be good to get some idea of how many would still like to do "something" at the same location. Already having reservations, vacation time, etc. What do you think? I'd still like to go & ride around the area, how about you?

Still plan on being there. The format may be a little different but the riding and the fun is still the same. The only real change I see is no shirt but I won't live long enough to use up all the shirts I have now. It's still in the west and still involves the FJR so it's still a WFO of some sort. I'm sure there is food close by and alcohol is never a problem. :yahoo:

I am going, I am looking forward to a few days on the road, Hooking up w/Ray in Mt Home on wed. having a few beers with Spud, meeting new folks like Jazzzmusican & James, maybe do some fishing, exploring western Wyoming, drinking a few more beers.

People who plan on still getting together, please list yourselves so we know who we can expect to run into, who to avoid, and who's buying the beer. (don?)

I've got the time off and wanna ride. So I'm planning to be there some. Probably not be there 3 nites, wan't to explore elsewhere. would like to get together with youse guys.

If it helps in Planning, here are some rides I put together months ago for posting on the site, but somehow they never made it on there... I had descriptions with mileage, but can't find them now. I guess you can google-map them to see what suits.

I plan on doing day rides out of here either Thursday/Friday or Friday/Saturday and would be happy to act as "guide". I'll see how schedules are shaking out and plan on joining in while you're here.

Also, I have 2 spare front tires and one spare rear (free to a good home) that have enough mileage to get anyone home if someone runs into tire problems.

The first one is where I think I can show you some of the less-known areas and will be a great day ride.

This is an easy half-day ride.

A loop around Bear Lake.

Tour of Yellowstone/Teton National Parks.

A nice long loop into central Idaho through the desert, along the Salmon River, into Stanly, through Sun Valley Area and Craters of the Moon.

Still planning on going, probably only two nights instead of three. Not sure if I will be leaving on Saturday or Sunday but I will for sure be there on Friday night.

I was on the fence about the WFO for a couple of reasons. The Clan Gathering in NorCal that seems to be coming together helps somewhat with both of those issues so I am planning on heading to Marin in lieu of Idaho. For Ray, Steve and the rest of you headed to the land of Grand Targhee and Les Grand Tetons (I love that name for a mountain range) you are in for a real treat. Be sure to eat a meal at Bubba's...and send pictures.

Wife and I are planning on being there although my mom has been in and out of the hospital so may have to change plans at the last minute.

I just talked to the lady at the Red Lion and they are staying with the discounted room rate and she said that only one person has cancelled. Looks like there will be some kind of turn out even if it's small.

I lived there in the late 50's and am going to see if I can find the house my dad built.

Everything is planned, never been to Yellowstone, everyone is still talking riding then beer, always happy to make strangers into friends, I'm still in!

I would suggest that each of you heading here send me a PM with your e-mail address. I'll then put an e-mail list together and we can use that to coordinate who's coming when and what rides people may want to do together.

Spud, PM sent!

I want to do the loop rides, then drink some beer. hit western wyoming, then drink some beer.Sit in the sun, and drink some beer.

I was just there less then two weeks ago, really nice area. I found Jakers to be a really good place to eat, one of the best burgers I have ever had (100% ground sirloin) and happy hour is 2 for 1 drinks.
