The members are most appreciated and helped are the ones that do a little work to see if a question has been asked before.

That you will review and understand the Board Guidelines that are very colorful in style, but also very important principles to understand and follow on the board.

Have fun talking about the board's main purpose....which if of course......FJRs.

The other reason we make new users introduce themselves is it's a VERY effective method for confusing SPAMbots that try and sell us Viagra. To date we've had thousands of SPAMbots register, but only 3 or 4 accidentally post to the right thread and get something through.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Mr. Admin Gawd...

What might I be doing wrong?

I've been gone for about half of a year and look forward to getting back in the saddle. The guys and girls on here are the best, so much knowledge!!

So, another pissant newbie is back to learn thank you guys, very much!!!!!!

Rookie FJR Rider in Central Ohio here! Just registered as a new member.

've been riding for 20+ years but just landed my first FJR, the bike I've aspired to own for a long long time. So far so good, amazed at the comfort and high speed stability compared to the Z1000 I just sold. I have to get used to the long wheel base and the different cornering dynamics.

Looking forward to an awesome riding season here in Ohio.

Matt

Hi,

I'm dave from Texas. I hope I'm doing this correctly as I thought I'd done it before. I also have a Fatboy which I am going to sell since I have the FJR and enjoy riding it much more.

I'm having problems resolving the fact that I appear to be signed in, but can't post. When I try to sign in, I get invalid user id or password, and don't know how to fix. Help!

Howdy from Texas, the DFW area, specifically the Plano/McKinney part.

I currently have an '04 FZ6, and am looking into buying an FJR sometime in the next year. Plan on lurking and learning.

Tom

Hello All,

Urvman here. As the latest FNG I'm not sure if this is the right spot to intro myself but here goes......

I just purchased a 2004 gen 1 abs model that has been improperly stored for 9+ years. I have been riding and wrenching for almost 35 years. I am looking froward to the collective knowledge base on this forum to assist me and I hope at some point I can assist others. My FJR has been successfully resurrected and I hope to meet some of you soon. Special thanks to ahchiu for getting the door open for me. I also have a 2009 Buell 1125CR, a 1973 Norton Commando and a garage built sohc 750 cafe racer. See you on the road!

Hi, Gary B. here, long time rider, first time FJR owner. Picked up a maroon '07 FJR, with 5,945 miles on it in showroom condtion yesterday. Put 170+ miles on it the same day. In all fairness about 145 of it was the ride home from where I purchased it! I'm replacing my '01 Triumph Trophy with 41k on it. The Trump is a great bike and will make someone else a low cost tourer/communter, but the FJR is obviously light years ahead! No more chain wax, no more cold-blooded carb starts, no more swapping stationary windshields from season to season! What the heck am I going to tinker with? Oh wait, I now I can spend that time riding more instead! Can't wait to put some more miles on my new ride!

Good to meet you last weekend, Irv. Could have wished more people kept their bikes shiny side up .....

HI!

I have been trying to write this first post for a while and finally with help from another member I am here! I grew up riding dirt bikes with my older brother in PA. Joined the military at 21 and didn't ride for about 6 years. Got back into it when I was 28 with a little Suzuki thumper and quickly found out it wasn't for me, I needed more.

Went through 4 different bikes, two cruisers, a dual sport, a f800st, and by then I finally knew what kind of bike I wanted/needed-a true sport tourer. I had it narrowed down to a connie or feejer, guess which one won?!

I couldn't be happier, with the exception of the weight (nothing I can't handle), and look forward to learning from all your experiences and knowledge, along with a little free entertainment!

Thanks for having me.

May have posted this in the wronge section so here it is again,

New Member on the Forum wanted to introduce myself, I have a 2010 that I purchased in 3/2012 new, live in Arvada Colorado. I have benefited much already by reading some tech posts on the Forum. Just got back from the SW-FOG 2013 in Salida Colorado. What a great group of FJR junkies that really schooled me on riding ability; I feel I’m already better just riding with them. Always interested to meet FJR owners nearby.

New and Old ....guy with recent purchase of a 2009 in the UAE.

Joined the forum a few years ago and have been lurking around here salivating over the info and the chance to own one. Finally found one and got ! Smiles ear to ear to ear on the way home !

Now to sell the HD Dyna and mod the FJR !

Great forum with very helpful members.... thanks to all.

Howdy all and greetings from North Chesterfield (Richmond) Virginia

New owner of a 2008 FJR, and just looking around here for information and maybe some local rides.
