Might be fake as some have suggested over on the bike forum I got it from.

Still nice to see him keep his cool and come out on top. :assassin:

Stupid guy in the beemer should have called the cops.........that could have ended much differently. He could have been easily beaten and his girl ***** or worse.

On the other hand, I might have shot the guy with the baseball bat if the circumstances were a little more justified.

The guy in the beemer spent his last dime on the car, that's why the wheel gun and no cell phone. :yahoo:

I agree, I thought the video mor funny than really a stand for carrying guns...

I love my guns but don't carry.

Sometimes if you have time to get to your gun, you could have done something else...

Don't know hope I never have to regret this statement!!!

Enjoy the video it is rather entertaining, even if to poke fun at the guys in the truck...

:dntknw: I would liken that question to why do bikers need to carry a flat repair kit, first aid kit, cell phone, etc., etc.

Or for that matter why would a person need to carry home owners insurance, vehicle insurance, medical insurance etc., etc.

Unpredictable and unpleasant things happen in life.

Who can predict if a tornado is going to hit your house or be out on the road in your cage and have a hailstorm nail you. Sure don't want that to happen or plan for it, but if it does, it's nice to know you have insurance that will cover the damage and allow you to rebuild your home or repair your auto.

How many of you have gone out for a ride and planned on having a flat tire? Not a one of us. But, it's nice to know that if you get a flat, that there is a tire repair kit in the saddlebag.

How many of you have been talking on your cell phone; either just walking around or driving down the road in your cage and had the signal drop out on you? Or for that matter been out in the middle of Wyoming, Montana or southern Utah and couldn't even acquire a signal?

Even if your cell phone is working properly, what is the response time of the local police department? (Dallas P.D. audit a while back showed average response time to a 911 call was 27 minutes...a lot can happen in 27 minutes.)

I always have my situational radar on and avoid getting into bad situations at all costs, but sometimes people get caught in unpleasant situations through no fault of their own and it may very well be a life and death situation. It's nice to know you have something that may save your life....or get you out of a unpleasant situation.

It's all part of proper contingency planning and preparation for the gotcha's in life.

Funny. Except I don't own a beemer. Or a gun. I just have right wrist that can turn really fast.

Anybody else catch those Canadian accents? Not a single "hand me a beer" or even a reference to beer. What a fake, those guys were on the job eh

I was going to allude to that, eh. But, I didn't want to get our canadien rednecks all in a fluster, eh....oh, hand me a molson, eh?

Pretty sure I have seen numerous discissions on some WRX/other car forums about it being staged but who knows.

Not sure I woulda led them down a dead end road even if I had a gun because they may have had some too and there was no way out the way he parked. Either way, I think I woulda made them turn around and then tossed the keys to the PU as far back into the freakin' woods as possible just to make it more fun.

Yeah really funny fake or real. Yeah, could have been different, Mr BMW made a lot of poor choices IMO.
