Hey Tom??? Why don't ya just go someplace?

I hear Toronto is nice in December?

Peeing on some boxes in me garage as I peck this

:****:

Just lube up that threaded rod and it's good to go. Gen-II riders need not apply, your drive is all goofy and complicated with wires and pulleys and ****.
Is this what you had in mind?

Holy Crap, glad I leave mine down most of the time!!

I finally got around to replacing all the plastic bushings and metal spacers. Just curious if anyone has a suugestion on what type of grease to use. I was planning to use Honda Moly but then realized that the Moly is not kind to plastic. What about white lithium?

I think the SM calls for lithium soap based grease. I use one made by Mercury Marine (24C) that has Teflon in it. For this app the Teflon is a plus, just don't use it on needle brgs.

I dunno  ... That genII clusterfuk is something I wouldn't want to mess with but about once every thousand years.

I've been using a dry molly lube on things that attract dirt and nasty stuff in hard to get to enclosed areas or areas on machinery that are bombarded with abrasive production residue.

That section of ropes an pulleys is an area that no doubt attracts sand, dust, and any number of abrasive particles.

Jus my cent an a half though.
