Took a little ride up to Ojai, Ca. to have lunch with a friend. Riding the 101 FWY and almost home, when all of a sudden it feels like I'm riding on a water bed (in the fast lane!). Couldn't see why, but the back tire was flat as hell.

So I crowd my way over to the off ramp and find a little tree to stop under. Didn't have the bags on, so I have my tire pump. Haven't used the repair kit and forgot that there was C02 in it.

Just as easy from where I was to use AAA and 45 minutes later I was home.

As soon as I put air in, it was apparent that the hole would be easy to find! Out with the tire kit. I've been wanting to practice this and I'm really glad I did this in daylight at home! I have the mushroom type plugs. Once I learned to back off the plunger so I could load a shroom, it was pretty easy to use. Even so the tire was flat again by morning!!!

Any way, don't have any interest in running on a plugged tire so off with the wheel and off to the shop.

That's when I saw this beauty sitting here waiting for new shoes!

Seemed like a good guy. Probably not every bodies idea of money well spent but obviously a great eye for matching up parts! Pretty cool! So I asked if he would mind if I posted picks. Maybe he'll post up and share!

I've never been a fan of flames on anything and that's way overkill...but it's not my bike. They look well done and kudos to him on making his bike unique. Definitely a one of a kind.

Oh... I forgot to mention the fact that there were shreds of rubber at limits of his tires! This bike also gets ridden!

Not my style either, but it is eye catching and unique. As long as it is not my money, I am happy for him. I do find the seat interesting though, I wonder who did that and did they just re-cover the stocker or did someone build a true custom seat.

very nice ,looks like ALOT effort and time went into making it his own .

Love it or hate it, somebody out there is damn good with air brush techniques!

I also am curious about the seat. looks to be a stocker recovered.

The only part I thought was just too much was the grips. Didn't work. Otherwise, I thought it looked pretty hot. Interesting on the gas cap rim, too. Brodie's and Iggy, though . . .

Not my cup of tea, but there is some serious talent there. I've never seen a painted windshield before either...
