I don't understand why he would rather stand in the yard than sit at the computer. :dntknw: I'm pretty sure he could text his friends from the PC. Right?
There are 3 PCs in this household, one of which is in my 14 yr old daughters room because I agree.... you'd THINK that's better than a tiny little screen and that's all she'd use.

Nonetheless, I've given up on screaming at her because between her Ipod touch (chatting) and her newest cellphone with the slide-out full alpha keypad (texting), there's nothing she needs in life that isn't on those 2 tiny little contraptions.

When I was her age, I had a 2 channel walkie talkie :(

I don't get it. Why isn't he out working? When I was 14, I was helping Dad mow the lawn, working on the weekends, delivering papers, etc. AND I was a kid in the internet age too (still am :p ).

At least he's outside.

Agreed on NetStumblr and whatnot. Once you find the network and the IP, you should find someone tech savvy to hack their router and make the network non-broadcasting. https://portforward.com/ was pretty helpful when I did that back in Australia.

I live across the street from a large apartment complex. I would certainly never ever ever ok I'm lying log into somebody's router and change the settings to work in a more optimal fashion. I swear - two years ago every router on my side of that complex was on the default Channel 6 (and the default admin/password, not that I'd know anything about that). Sure seemed like somebody should be smart enough to spread 'em out a bit...
