I've reviewed posts on Smartire installation, but I believe all mounting suggestions have to do with the placement of the sensor unit. I'm looking for the best wires to splice (solder) into. Should negative go directly to the battery? Which wire is best for the positive? Do I need to worry about interference to or from audio components nearby that are connected to an Autocom? :dntknw:

The ride is an '05 ABS.

Thanks in advance,

You should have a fuseblock of some sort to work off of - makes future upgrades a dream. But yes, the battery is fine for Ground, and any ignition signal is fine for the +12V, as long as there is a fuse as close to the tap off as possible. This thing draws a negligible amount of power, so any ignition signal will be ok.
