Would like a pair of front brake rotors. The less the miles on them the better, but will consider any of them. I believe years 04-08 will work on my 04 FJR.

Cheaper the price the better too! :)

Anybody out there got their originals after upgrading to aftermarket?

ScooterG - Let me know if Steve's rotors did not work out for you. I have original '04 front rotors from when we did the Galfer group buy several years ago (rear rotor was sent to Luvtoride).

PM on the way!

rear rotor was sent to Luvtoride.
Which happened to clear up my issue totally when put on bike. :) Again, much thanks Joseph.

What was your issue?

I seem to wear out a set of front rotors every 100k or so. I replaced one set already, and now another set is vibrating/oscillating like mad under moderate braking at slow speeds.

The first time this happened, a buddy and I checked for warpage with a dial indicator - everything A-ok, and then used a micrometer to check thickness variation around both rotors. Again, nothing out of spec or unusual. I replaced that set with a used set from a forum member and everything went back to fine. Until now.

Issue was that rotor was bent during a tire change. High speed braking felt interesting to say the least. I've got 72,000ish miles. Expect it'll be awhile b4 I need new rotors.

Greg - I can't remember who from the forum bought my rotors. They paid shipping and about $20, they were nice, I just wanted shipping. They were using them for an experiment and I believe he was going to buy new ones but wanted to try something out with mine. Not sure if it was for a different year or what. I'll try to find out who it was.

Hopefully he'll pipe in if he still has them.
