Having been the ultimate shopper it is possible to find a 550 for $450 - but be careful that the maps are reasonably current and it comes with the wiring, etc, you need. New, it came with a ram mount and cradle and wires.

In addition to this excellent forum, there is high traffic on the advrider for sale and on ebay. You'll find one, just keep looking.

I've got a perfectly working perfect shape 550 for my F JR but I'm upgrading so if you're interested $425+ shipping everything included GPS wiring and disk. Let me know otherwise I will just craigslist it. Mark. 360-355-5065
