Hi ya'll.....

Looking for a slightly used or new orphaned PRII front tire.

I had to replace a rear due to a oddly angled puncture, so my rear still has tons of life. Looking for a front to get me thru for a bit til I need to swap out to a matched new set.

Thanks

barb

Somehow, I always thought you wanted more than that...especially if your rear has tons of life.

edit: sorry, wrong forum.

:D

Leave it to Wheatie to head straight for the gutter although there is nothing wrong Barb's shape at all. :D

I did check the tire stash in the loft and the only front doesn't have enough left to be worth shipping

A suggestion: The Conti Motion is generally cheaper than most tires. It is very sticky, but won't last near as long as a PR2 front. Find a place that will sell and ship a Conti Motion front only for cheap and use that until your next set.

Shipping a used tire to Canada is probably not going to be too cheap. I have a full set of takeoffs with pretty good life on them, but just put on brand new PR3s.

You can get the conti-motion front from motosport.com for $ 78 shipped (whoops I see you are in canada)

I've got a nearly new '021 that you're welcome to. Free mount and balance!

Staying out of the gutter, but biting lip...

I think you should atleast take a look at her rear while you're up there mounting (and balancing?)
If you are going to keep going to the gutter at least move over so there is room for the rest of us

Believe me, the gutter on the FJRForum is as wide as the bandwidth. Come on in, the water's fine...barb's in here with me.

Hand me that towel though, will ya?

Don't think you're gonna want it when I'm done with it.

Barb,

Maybe I skipped over this detail, but... Why wouldn't you just put a new tire on the front?

There is no magic in having "matched sets".

Wheatie...you're BAD! Plenty of room in the gutter for all of us -- staying away from the towels though. :p
