Just picked up and installed my second Big-Foot. My dumb *** forgot to locktite the last one and eventually she worked herself loose and fell off. I installed the new one last night, and took my ladyfriend for a ride this afternoon. Now, I'm 210lbs, shes a little over 120. We hit some twisties today and did a little grinding on the footpegs......along with a few other things.

:good: :punk: :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Dammmmm! Well, at least it stayed on through all that. I am about the same weight and I will leave it at my wife is on the plus side of 120 also. ;) Granted there aren't many twisties here in the flat lands of Taxachusettes. I don't recall ever hitting the Big-Foot in my Feej. Have you done a shock adjustment? just curious.

Edit: That looks like a modified version in reverse.

Hi Dave

I bought a Bigfoot and a set of block off plates a few years ago and need another set for a friends Gen 1 2005 FJR, do you still have these items available ?

I can't remember the procedure for ordering, I use PayPal.

Thanks , Rod Mitchell

Anyone using a BigFoot with a set of Vance & Hines CS Ones? If so, does the standard one work or do you have to use the modified one?

Nitroman, I have the same ones and according to Dave he has not sold one to anyone with a V&H exhaust. Here is what Dave sent me -

"Sorry but I haven't any feedback on that setup. Best I can tell you is the big foot adds 1/2" inch around the existing kickstand pad. A modified big foot will be slightly less than 3/8" of an inch away. If you can try taking a measurement and see how much space you have while the kickstand is up."

Stock shock. Bike has 50k on it, so she is due for a new one. I had everything cranked down all the way. I guess the best way to explain it is this; My office to lunch was a 22 mile ride in twisties. MapQuest estimated 44 minutes.

We did it in 21. =) I could have gone faster but we were dragging peg at every turn.

I have Vance & Hines CS Ones and have had absolutely no problems with the Bigfoot on my 2008.

Hello Rod,

Yes, both are still available and paypal is the usual way to go. See post #1 for either item to get the details.

Thanks,

Dave
