I searched prior to buying my rear carrier for my top case, and i never found too many photos, so here are some from my install. I can say this thing is built solid. I purchased the rear carrier at my local dealer for $236 after tax. You do have to trim the side panel plastic a little, but no big deal, templates are provided. I got my 39L top case for a good deal, but won't be able to paint it until after EOM.

Here is what came in the box.

Very nice. Always wondered why they didn't design the original rack so that it would accept their top case without needing that extra plastic plate.

If that's the rear case off ebay that went for $360 delivered you did get a good deal, too bad it need to be painted. I wish I had waited a month to buy one, that is my color. I had gotten a new one from a dealer for $560 shipped and thought I got a good deal.

I actually got the top case off Ebay for $245 delivered.
