Your helmet liner and cheek pads

I have a shoe Neo Tec helmet. The liner and the cheek pads are both easily removed. I decided to take them out and wash em tonight. OMG. I couldn't believe how dirty they were. If your liner and cheek pads come out of your helmet WASH THEM.

Haha...do it all the time. Even with my dirt bike helmets. I love clean cheek pads, even more than new ones. They're soft, clean, and already broken in. Lol.

I always wear a helmet liner.

It helps.

Riding in S. Florida the helmet can get pretty funky.

Ditto.. I have three and just rotate them.

I wash my liner when the smell gets too bad for even me. You know, like when your own fart grosses you out.

I wear a dew rag, but also wash the cheek pads about once every 6-12 months.

human heads are funky, esp if one is on a long trip and not showering daily.
