Did my first ride this season today and tested the new Zümo 595LM + Sena 20S +iphone 7 combo. Works great, just one question though:

if I want to search the artists from my iphone through Zümo I would need to scroll down them in alphabethic order and it takes a long time to arrive to those with Q or V as I have quite some albums there .

At the same time, if I have saved the MP3 files on the Zümo itself, it also lets me see alphabeth in the lower part of the screen where I can go straight to certain letter

Any chance to have the same option for the iphone artist list?

Put it on shuffle and let it surprise you?

One smartassed comment. That's all I got. Sorry. My 660 let's me enter a name, if I remember right. Maybe see if that's an option.

? HoeLeeCrap!! Didn't know anyone besides me ever listened to that.......

I'm a shuffle guy, like Da 'Zilla said. 2000 miles and never hear the same song twice. I prefer not to listen to an album at a time, I find it kind of boring.

Ok, guys, many thanks for your help. Shuffle could be an option to consider, The only downside is that not all the songs on my iphone I care to listen. And i do have all sorts of crap there :)

rbentnail :yep, I do like the irish folk-rock, as well as scotch. Ever heard of Runrig?

I just got a 595LM. It works great. Sometimes. Other times it won't connect at all. It has me thinking I need less tech, not more tech. Yesterday, no matter what I did, it would not connect to anything. Rebooting in both ends didn't work. A couple more days of that and I'm going back to iPhone. I was pleased at how simple it is to operate. It just doesn't always work (audio/connectivity wise). I have yet to load any mp3's into it.

That's the beauty of less tech. I have a gazillion yr old mp3 player (ok, maybe 10 y/o but in today's world....) in my pocket with earbuds. They also act as ear plugs for wind noise reduction. Visuals on the gps but if I feel the need to have auditory, I unplug from mp3 and plug into gps for a while since my older nuvi has an external plug jack- pretty rare I ever do that. I am NOT a phone guy. The only reason I have a phone is to text SWMBO every once in a while where I am and that I'm (we're) fine. I don't take calls, other texts, messages, social media or anything else on a phone at home, why do it on the road? My mp3 has 4gb of memory with a 16gb micro SD card. I just rotate songs off and put new on- 10 minutes when plugged into my laptop. Hit shuffle and another 2000 miles of never-hear-the-same-song-twice.

My mp3 has skip and repeat buttons. Doesn't your phone have them?
