Mine has done the parkin lot pee many times. I have asked this question atleast a couple of different times. My FJR does it when it is sitting in the hot sun when it has a 1/3 or more gas in the tank. I did put a heat lining shield under the tank but still dont know if that did the trick...

I've had my ABS on about 3 times during the last 8 months. I know that is not good. I should be practicing power braking. It was a no brainer for me to get ABS........for an 05 ABS out the door with no addition cost ...$11,300......I would not pass that up.

I have an 05 FJR ABS. When I park it in the sun at work it will be dripping gas out one of the three tubings by the time I get off work at 2:30 pm. Probably the vent tubing. It will do it from a 1/3 of a tank and on up. As soon as I fire it up.....it stops instantly. Anyone else have this...

You didn't say how old your son is? Be a role model for your son and dont speed in front of him. If he is going to speed he will speed. If you are going to speed, just dont do it in front of him. If you teach speeding then you cant preach no speeding.

another option, it sounds like, is putting on some FZ1 mirrors. From a FZ1OA Board member. A lot of them don't like the stock mirrors and replace them. or Do a search for FZ1 and mirrors ......seems like they run about $38 a piece.

Great report John I agree.......Hwy 141 and adjoining it is Hwy 145........love that road in Colorado. I will be doing that road next week the most I have done was 14 states in 10 days, 4695 miles from Colorado to Florida via Deals Gap and returned thru the Lower Southern states.
