Steve i had the same prob. with my 021 tire i called yamaha after a few calls they bot me a new tire, i also installed a brace i weigh 300 lbs. and it helped in handling big time. i have now installed PR2s have 3000 miles on them and no wear yet

I read somewhere you could buy longer windshield brackets that raise and lower the windshield allowing it to go higher and lower than stock . is there such a thing? 08 fjr

Most everyone knows that 08 black is the fast one/ but if it has the bridgestone BT021 tires they will be shot at 3k or less!

My 08 was the same i bot the gel seat way too hard went back to stock Then i went up to the mohawk trail RT 2 just outside greenfield and bot a sheepskin and that took care of the seat problem i weigh 300 lbs. and what a difference cost me 39.00

Bridgestone has specifick article numbers for the fjr 127135 and the new concours 105653 appears that they know something about these 2 bikes with their tires

Same problem, I measured the tread depth on my 2nd front with 1000 miles on it and we should be calling this an eruption not a wear problem the depth was the same across the tire. It becomes a wear problem as time goes on because your riding on this eruption Yamaha is not interested in wear...

This information should be made permanent. MY dealer is going to warrentee them then i will pay the difference for a set of PR2s thanks to this posting!

I also had same problem at 2800 miles the dealer said i ran them too sofl i ran 40 lbs always they split the cost with me thats the best they would do. i also weight 300 lbs so i wrote it off but i will watch more info now and i will get my tire back from the steeler.
