The latest gps are very good some of them are even 20 channel ,the latest being sirf III they will work inside a car easily as long as you dont have a reflective coated windscreen And otterbox do waterproof boxes for pda that you can mount on a bike as well Hope this helps

Somewhere I saw a Farkle for expanding the storage under one of the seats on an FJR to add some extra electronic gubbins But WHERE I have searched 3 forums and found zilch Can someone point me to the right place please :clap: :( :blink:

They have done them for a while now I have ridden 3 winters with mine its great and the only thing that has ever continuously worked for me You can also buy a kit to do it to your own visor as long as you drill the holes in the right place :D

Lids off of jam pots are usefull and you can always leave them behind if you cant pick them up

I found that the angle of the screen could be brought closer by using spacers off of my pedal bikes brakes .The spacer is about 7mm and dished at one end the other spacer fits in the dish shape and can be angled so although I only added 9mm total the screen edge was nearly touching the fairing...
