I saw a book a while back (sorry I can't remember the titile) where the author claimed that ethanol was a negative energy fuel. He said it took more energy to grow and process ethanol than you were able to get back out of it. Any body know anything about this?

My stock system shows the same symptoms, the only add ons I have are electric grip heaters and gps. The fluctuations are there with or without grip heaters on. Steve

I used bubble type insulation because I happened to have it laying around, with the pattern cut it could be replaced in about 10min. for 3 or 4 bucks. When this wears out I will probably look for another thin insulation, perhaps the "firewall" type I used on the bottom of the tank. Steve

I rode through Arco about 2 weeks ago there was about 20 miles of some of the roughest construction I've ever been through. Lady at the gas station at Arco said they had been blasting, I belive it. I would go around. Steve
