    Thanks guys, appreciate the input. I recently had to make the first repair since I got the scoot in Oct of 2010, had to replace one of the tail light bulbs. Very annoying. ;-)

    What did you do to your FJR today?

    Not just today, but, a Calsci screen and avcc and I'm about ready for the May run to Balltown, CO, via Missouri for niece's hs graduation. Just gotta mod the seat for some better bun time and I'll be ready to roll.

    I'm pretty new here but not new to bikes. As far as I know, all wheel bearing greases (petroleum based or synthetic) are "waterproof" if that means incompatible with water.
