I was at Cycle Gear this afternoon and saw that they sold a set of heated grips with dial controller for $60. Has anyone used these? Any info would help. I'm not sure if these would be a better option than Symtecs. Thanks for any help or suggestions. g

If you are coming up I5, then you can take 96 to Happy Camp. Then go north to Cave Junction, great road for bikes, very twisty with lots of scenery. From there, take the suggested route. Sounds like a great ride.

I have one on my 07 and love it. It is a bit on the firm side, but does a great job of spreading my weight to eliminate any hot spots. I don't have the gel insert and, for me, it's not needed. Good luck.

Since you have already picked up the helmets this may be a mute point, but may help others. When shopping for a modular helmet, be very careful that the locking mechanism is made of steel (like the Nolons). Many of the cheaper helmets have plastic and are much weaker. For the price and...
