Issues with Bridgestone and Avon mix...

No, I haven't done any hardcore cornering since I've put the Avon on the front. Sounds like I need to watch out for a potentially hairy situation though. Thanks for the heads up.

Issues with Bridgestone and Avon mix...

Metric, I'm running an Avon Azaro on the front and finishing off a B020 thats on the rear. I've went about 1000 miles or so on this mix and I haven't noticed any handling problems or odd behavior. I'll be mounting a Storm on the rear before too long.

Need advice on possible FJR purchase

I agree with the others, sounds like a fair price. As far as the scratches are concerned, if you end up loving this bike and riding it as much as most of us do, the scratches will eventually happen. Like Rickster says, it adds character. Go for it.

dead hands, burning buns 06 FJR

+1, Also, support your upper body by gripping the tank a little tighter with your legs. I find myself leaning forward and putting my weight on the handlebars sometimes and that will cause some numbness in my hands. Can't help you with the burning ass problem....maybe some kind of cream would...

    Christmas Visit from the kids

A man in Phoenix calls his son in New York the day before Christmas and says,"I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough. " "Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screams. "We can't stand the sight of each...

    Motorcycle Conspicuity

A riding buddy of mine wears a white helmet, he says that he gets mistaken for an LEO quite often. I have to say, it does stand out. As far as bright colors go, I think that they help increase the odds of being seen. I just don't put alot of faith in the cagers seeing me. I still ride as if...
