For those of you who suffer with passenger/self helmet turbulence - I HIGHLY recommend the Laminar Lip. We have tried the stock and after market shields. They worked okay for me solo but she either always got alot of turbulence with the shield in the low position or I got a TON of back pressure...

I just noticed two leaking seals on mine with 17K miles. I blame it on the previous owner who trailered the bike with the forks compressed fully.... Anyone have an idea on what a shop would charge to fix? I would do it myself but am leaving for a 3 week trip soon and want to make sure it is...

I spoke with the shop. They sent me the G2 tube for the AE.... I can either cut the one I have or return for the correct one. Thanks for everyones help.

The G2 throttle tube is about an 1/2 inch longer. Is this correct? That is why my TM will not work. I think I maybe got a wrong version or a long version.

I just put on the the G2 tube and the throttle meister will not go back on. What am I doing wrong or are these not meant to work together?

This is why I have a the KTM950Adv for dual sport trips. (and yes I haven had it off road, through streams and maybe even off a few jumps.... :blink: And for the serious dirt I have the Yamaha WR 250. Now if I could just add a track bike to the garage I would be in Nirvana.

Update: After 300 more miles she is really starting to grow on me! I was disappointed at first but I think that was because I was expecting it to be something it is not. The bike is effortless to drive and has great handling characteristics. I did 200 miles on it yesterday and barely realized...

I wash my bike partly to keep it clean - but it is a great way to inspect the bike. Good way to check for anything loose, missing or leaking.
