The best year for the FJR1300

Sorry all but 08’s are great. I have nearly 100k km’s of absolutely trouble free riding, which is remarkable. This a low number for many on this forum but at the same time, this forum has attributed much to this possibility. Thanks.

    Phone mount

Drilled a hole in stem nut, shaved a bolt head for internal clearance and female ram ball. Quad lock with wireless charger mount and dampener. This set up has been trouble free and very happy with it.

Ram mount on left unused threaded hole near clutch reservoir

2” long likely be tight for a large phone mounted portrait but has adequate clearance for a Garmin. Recently have ordered a 3” and x grip and will test out with a large cell phone.

Banff and Jasper July 2nd to July 9th.

What Shawn (and others) said. 5a is the best. However, my absolute favourite, for more reasons than just the joy of riding, is Cache Creek to Lillooet to Whistler to Squamish. The draw back is you got to get through Vancouver, which can be nasty. But, even that, if you hit it really early can...

Banff and Jasper July 2nd to July 9th.

If I do need to route that way I like to get through very early in the am, especially on the Banff - Jasper highway. The views are absolutely spectacular on highway 93 but I don't consider Banff and Jasper...
