180/55: 99+432(rim dia.)+99=630*3.14=1978mm circ. 190/55: 104.5+432+104.5=641*3.14=2012mm circ. This is less than a 2% increase in circumference. Should really be barely noticeable on the speedo at 60MPH.

I'm quite satisfied with this tank bag. Trial QLfrom Bags Connection. Comes with water proof cover that I haven't used. My bars are stock and in full back position and I think if you had an aftermarket riser with any kind of set back, you could run into clearance issues at full turn.

Actually, I was thinking that if a guy carefully cut the 1 ounce weights in half, so as not to distort them, they would fit better and you could get the weight equally distributed on the center line of the rim. That 3M tape should hold them even if they weren't perfectly flat, no?

Considering the price, I was concerned about the quality of the bearings allowing the wheel to rotate freely, however, they seem ok. The weights are stick on and would work in a pinch, I guess, but they seemed like they were too large in surface area (flat and not cube shaped) to be able to fit...

I purchased this wheel balancer and used it to balance my last set of new tires. I can find no fault with the results at any speed. One thing, the weights that come with it are useless. I'm guessing this made in China product is marketed under several different names in North America.

If people think the FJR has a lot of gear noise now, wait till you hear the new 1400 with the straight cut gears in the rear drive. Sweet!

This is the ultimate barn door. Quite a bit less flapping than the Yammie tall screen.

IMHO, the Yamaha touring screen is terrible. Rifle, Casci, V-stream are all good. Do a search on google like this: rifle site:fjrforum.com. (or calsci, v-stream) Lots and lots of info and pics on this subjetc.

It's open all year, however, 93 does close a few times a year in the dead of winter cause of snow. *Should* be safe till end of September.

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. I think that road (highway 99) will always be my favourite. Going there real soon (hopefully this Friday!). IMHO, pictures and text will always be better than a video. Maybe I'm a little strange, but I almost never watch posted videos of ride reports.
